hoy fue martes, 17 de febrero de 2009. soleado y ventoso.

y los días pasan uno tras otro como apurados, como si fueran ese cuello blanco norteamericano de los 80 llegando tarde para agarrar ese tren que lo deja justo justo para marcar tarjeta. lo imagino con sombrero, sobretodo y diario cerrado en la mano, agarrándose del gancho que cuelga del techo del vagón, cansado, magro, abatido, gris. 

pero aquí es miamiiii. mai-a-mi señoras y señores. a bailar la rumba y llenarse de alcohol hasta por los codos! ja.. 

if you stare at something too much, for a long time, it starts to lose its shape, its meaning, and you see a new one, you find it different. 

luckyly when you move, and see it from different places, from different people, you can see a different city, here at the all-neon-flashy-lights-miami.

and it's not about being or not being miami that makes it different but the walking... the meeting, the knowing, the exploring. and also it is not about one side being better than the other one... actually it's about finding the side that fits you i guess.

es un mismo objeto, pero con diferentes lados y facetas; como todo, como todos.

pensar que ya casi un mes y medio que estamos acá! y nos iremos dentro de poco. nosotras estaremos dejando esta ciudad para regresar a casa para ser quienes somos, mientras la ciudad se queda, en su lugar siendo quien pretende ser. 

ay maiami, ayayay maiami...!
